Korean girl group NewJeans will make their debut at the upcoming Billboard Music Awards, marking a major milestone in their burgeoning career. The five-piece group, managed by ADOR, a subsidiary of HYBE LABELS, will be performing alongside some of the world’s most recognized artists.

A string of hit singles including “Super Shy,” “Ditto,” and “ASAP” have fueled NewJeans’ rapid rise to prominence, cementing their position as one of the fastest-growing fourth-generation Korean pop bands. As they prepare to perform “Super Shy” and “OMG” at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards, they are sure to overwhelm global audiences with their energetic and infectious music.

NewJeans received five BBMA nominations, surpassing the Rookie and Senior categories and tied with Mexican-American group Eslabon Armado. They will be competing for “World’s Best K-Pop Artist”, “Billboard’s World’s Best Artist (except U.S.)”, “Best K-Pop Album (for their second EP Get Up)” and “World’s Best K-Pop Song (for the songs “Ditto” and “Oh My God”)”.

While there are rumors that Keena from FIFTY-FIFTY was present at the awards, this has not been officially confirmed. Anticipation is growing for NewJeans’ spectacular performance and the unveiling of the coveted awards.
